***EDIT: I went to Elegant Hair on Hillsborough avenue which was out my way and right next to ANOTHER Beauty Depot 🙄 I wrote them a 5 star review after an excellent experience 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼) ***** , I’m traveling overseas for two months and needed to buy several wigs for my trip. When I arrived at Beauty Depot on Fowler Ave in Tampa I was advised I could only try on three of their wigs AFTER paying $1.00 for a wig cap. I was advised that due to COVID the owner is using caution while trying on the DISPLAY wigs?? COVID was over FIVE years ago??? I promise you I don’t have COVID and even if I did, the stain that was “killing” people no longer exist?? Yes someone could have the flu, but people have been having the flu for centuries?? Why shop here when you can buy the wig online cheaper? Found the wig online cheaper and a flat rate for shipping so will not be back. The help, was like they could not be bothered with finding a wig, they were not customer friendly at this location. The lady that will install your lace wig, was the manager and later found out they play games with who is the manager. One thing for sure make sure you have the right wig selection before you get to the register, because NO EXCHANGE on WIGS - the sign says exchange or store credit but it never says anything about WIGS!

Ladies, do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else. The staff is incompetent and rude. They don’t actually want to help but will follow you around the store. Any questions you have are met with “i don’t know”. I always try to give this store a chance. I’m disappointed every time. I’ve learned my lesson.
