Her work looked very promising, but the customer service was not there at all. When she did finally respond to a few questions that I had, her tone seemed to be a little off and I believe that she stated that she would charge the same amount for half of the services since my hair is long. I indicated that I would still pay the amount requested and in the end she stopped responding and wasted my time. It seems that she’s isn’t interested in new clients or doing long hair. I ultimately decided to take my business elsewhere because that seemed unprofessional.

Leilani is THE BEST barber for women’s cuts. She knows exactly what she’s doing: confident, precise, and professional. She takes the time to explain and make sure you understand the process. I’ve worn my hair short for about a year, and every male barber I tried in LA messed up the back of my head no matter how clearly I explained it. Leilani got it right the first time. As long as I’ve got hair on my head, I’ll keep coming back to her.

Since the first time she did my hair I knew she was special. I don't let just anyone do my hair. Not everyone has growing fingers, but her work spoke for itself. Her press n curl is superb! She always has something encouraging to say, not knowing that you needed to hear that exact thing on that day. If you haven't tried her out, you're definitely missing out!

I couldn't tell you about the hair cut. The barbers standing outside the shop smoking 🚬 gave me such an intense headache for the next hour. I tried to approach but just...couldn't see myself willfully sitting in that haze with my child. But hey! Everyone around seemed just fine with it so it must be me.
