Beauty Beyond Measures ...Hair salon and style shop

I’m not sure if it was an off day for May or if maybe I caught her on bad day, but my services were not on par with the reviews I’d seen posted. My appointment was scheduled for 0900 and I arrived at 0855, so as to be on time. She asked me to be patient cause she was unloading items from her car, cool I can get with that. However, my 0900 appointment didn’t start until 0946…I was a new customer and this wasn’t making the best impression. It didn’t make me feel as though my time was being respected or valued. She applied the relaxer, which I’m pretty sure was box, with no issue. The problem for me arose when the shampoo used to neutralize my hair were packets NOT a bottle/jar of neutralizing shampoo like salons I’ve frequented in the past. This further confirmed for me this was a box relaxe

My hairstyle is beautiful and I could upload a photo, but you just have to trust me! It took me less than an hour to do my actual hair. The wait time did take over an hour, which is understandable since we were a last minute walk-in appointment.

I was Enterprise for the week and needed my hair done for an event. May came through for me when no one else was available. She flat ironed the heck out of my hair. She's good.

I moved here a little over a year ago and I found this salon and the owner and stylist May Preston was great love the atmosphere, clean shop, the VIP treatment was everything y’all check her out for all your beauty needs Yours truly Happy client Monica

Provided May a picture of what I wanted and she cut my bangs straight across instead of layering and thinning them out. Charge me 40 for what I could have done at home.
