I took my 4 year old daughter to get her hair cut and nails done. Laura was so calm and kind throughout both services. My daughter can’t wait to go back! She really felt like a princess✨

My little girl just went in for her first haircut at 6. I was worried because her hair was so long and she loved it, but we agreed it was getting too hard for her to brush on her own. Laura made her feel so special. She showed her what it would look like after it was cut. She shampooed her hair and took time to make sure her hair was just right and painted her nails with the entire rainbow. In the end she had 10 inches cut off. She loves it so much that she was dancing and looking in the mirror afterwards when we were at dinner. She said “I feel even more like me!” 💕

Laura was so kind, she is a pro at making kids comfortable 🩷 my daughter recently turned 2 and wanted her hair cut. She became nervous and changed her mind when we got to the parking lot. As soon as she saw that she got to sit in a car and watch her favorite tv show, she warmed up and didn’t want to leave. In fact, my daughter has requested multiple times that she get another hair cut next week 😆 We even got a certificate with a lock of hair. Highly recommend!!

I can’t recommend her enough. I took my very wiggly 4 yr old to her for her first hair cut and she did amazing. I was worried my daughter would be afraid but she was relaxed from the minute we walked in. We will definitely be back!

I came to Beauty and the Brush after seeing reviews on a mom’s Facebook group. While Laura was very kind and patient with my kids, my daughter’s haircut ended up uneven. She had several inches cut off, but even after pointing out that part of it was longer and going 10 minutes into the next appointment time to try to fix it (my daughter also wanted a little more cut off) it still didn’t end up quite even on both sides. It was cut with her normal part in place. My other child’s cut was much shorter given the extended time it took to complete my first child’s cut. Maybe this is my fault for not asking for a longer appointment time? There was only one option on the website for time booking with a girls haircut. Additionally the website lists shampoo, haircut, blow dry and manicure if desired
