Beach Nails Spa of NY

I was really disappointed with my experience at Beach Shopping Nails. This was my first time going, and unfortunately, I won’t be back. I asked for a light pink gel manicure, but the tech used her own polish and gave me a nude color instead—she didn’t use what I asked for at all. She was friendly and talkative, which I appreciated, but the quality of the manicure just wasn’t there. My nails have visible gaps where there’s no polish, and the tips are basically bare. For a gel manicure, it looks unfinished. The customer service was nice, but the result definitely wasn’t worth the money. I’ve attached photos so you can see for yourself. Not to mention by the end of the service, I felt pressured by both the tech and the man at the front of the desk to tip, it did not feel like my choice to tip

I went here to get a birthday set done. Nails were done by Steven. I showed him the 3rd pic below on how i wanted my nails done. The first 2 pictures is what i wound up with and was charged $80. I immediately hated the nails, but I was the last appointment, so I decided to go back the next day to let the man in the front know I was unhappy and I wanted to change my nail design. I was told I would be charged a fee of $40, of course i walked out and I will never go back. The work is sloppy, the prices are absurd, and the customer service is horrible! stay away and save your money

I usually go to another trusted place, but today I decided to give this one a chance because it is closer to my house, and it was the worst decision I made. I asked for a classic (regular) manicure and pedicure with French. I don’t like using gel because, according to recent studies, it is toxic. They assigned me to Helen, who insisted many times that I should get gel. I explained to her that recent studies show it is toxic and I don’t like using it. First, she asked me to pay when she was halfway through the job (which I don’t mind), but she also asked me for her tip before finishing. She asked me if I was going to give it in cash or card. That bothered me, and I already didn’t like the service, but when I left and saw what she had done, I was really upset because it was a horrible job (

I’ve been going here for decades and they have always felt like home and like family. This location is accommodating and flexible with your schedule. I will continue to patronize beach nails because I receive excellent service and I love the ownership. Brandon has become a good friend and I wish nothing but the best for this business. Go on and let them know you’re visiting based on my recommendation! You’ll love it. Also my nails last forever when done! Almost too long 😆 Kenny is my favorite. Steven is great and Isabel is my go to for pedicures! Everyone is amazing but I have my faves. You’ll have yours also. ❤️

So, I went to this place because it says on google that they’re opened until 8 PM. (first mistake. They haven’t updated their hours so apparently it’s 7:30.)Anywho, I arrive at 6 PM in hopes to get a REGULAR MANI PEDI. No gel, no acrylic, nothing. When I arrive I was told to go to the back with an older woman as she’d be doing my nails, then as I’m going to her she doesn’t even speak she gestures that she can’t take me. So they have me wait for another individual who happened to be sweeping at the time. I go to the back (which btw the chairs are half broken atleast the arm rests are and for such a profitable business they should have updated this already. Nonetheless, I sit down. She begins to do my pedicure. I notice another young lady come and start to do my nails. What in the world? It
