Beach Beauty Aveda Salon

I absolutely love Beach Beauty! The salon is always clean, beautifully designed, and has such a great atmosphere. My husband and I both get our hair done here, and we bring our four kids as well. Every stylist is fantastic, but Monika, the owner, is our go-to. We’ve been going to her for over 10 years. Her pricing is very reasonable compared to other salons in the area. The music is always on point, and she brings such positive energy. I also trust her for my spray tans—the organic solution she uses never streaks and always looks flawless. Beach Beauty is hands down our favorite spot for haircuts and the best place in the South Bay for spray tans!

My second visit to Beach Beauty was another great experience. This time I got a haircut with Monika and I LOVE it. Went up the street after my cut to get tea and was greeted with “I love your hair!”. Random, fun, awesome. Thanks Monika.

Wow where do I begin. I was so excited to get my hair done for the first time in awhile and now it's BLUE. I tried talking to the stylist to find out what happened and why she let me leave with blue in my hair. She spent 3 hours not owning up to it and eventually gave me $30 back for a $330 trip to the salon. If you want blue hair and $300 to waste go here I guess.

Beach Beauty Aveda Salon is a 2 chair business in the heart of Hermosa Beach on Pier Avenue. The salon is clean and modern with the owner’s beautiful surf board artwork hanging on the walls. I’ve been seeing Monika for the last year and a half, and I’ve always been very happy with her work. Her knowledge on what is best for your hair is exemplary. In fact, when I come in for my appointment, I hand her the reigns and allow her to make decisions which best suit my hair. I am always very happy and get more compliments from people. Beach beauty is easy to book online and Monika is great about being flexible if you need to get in last minute. I highly recommend Beach Beauty.

Cat is amazing! I was in town with family and on a whim decided I wanted a little “Cali Glowup”. I went to Cat for my first ever balayage and she exceeded my expectations. She listened to exactly what I wanted and even gave me a killer haircut. My boring dark brunette hair now looks perfectly sun-kissed and glowy. After chatting with Cat, I learned that she has had amazing styling education from around the world and it really shows!
