I’ve been going to Dragan for years. I trust him completely. He’s such a skilled hair dresser. During this time he and Be Beauty have taken all the precautions from wearing masks, sanitizing, signing waivers. The shop is small enough to fit a single client. Honestly I felt super comfortable!

If you're looking for a new salon and a new look I 100% recommend Be Beauty. Dragan is an artist! He really takes his time to make sure you're getting a great cut and color every time. Other salons I have been to have damaged my hair and turned it yellow trying to get it blonde Dragan gets it back to looking healthy and beautiful. His salon is super cute and very clean. He takes his time and I really appreciate that. I never feel like I'm being rushed out to cram in another client. His products smell great too! I've been twice now and I won't be going to anyone else again. Support local business and check out his salon. You wont be disappointed!

There's a reason that this salon ONLY has five star reviews. Due to the pandemic, I felt like I was taking a risk going to get my hair cut. But when I actually went to Be Beauty, all the necessary safety measures were in place and taken seriously, and made me feel extremely comfortable. I asked for suggestions about what kind of haircut I should get, and Dragan suggested (and delivered on) a summery style that was outside my normal haircut, but still well within my comfort zone. In addition, the products he used made my hair *extremely* soft, and also smell fun and fresh. Topping it all off, I feel like Dragan really spent the time to make sure my haircut was done immaculately. He was thorough and did a wonderful job!

Over the last few years, I have been unable to find the right salon and stylist for me (which we all know can be disappointing). Somehow I completely lucked out. When I moved to Astoria, I stumbled on Be Beauty walking by (it’s really close to 30th Ave or Steinway if you’re taking the subway). From the outside looking in, I was struck by this boutique salon for its cleanliness, atomosphere, style, price list, and the fact that it is an intimate 2-seater salon - could it really be as good at it seemed? Yes yes yes!!!! I have finally found my spot!!!!! Dragan is an extremely personable, talented, and professional stylist. Dragan is a miracle worker for me and is honestly 1 of 4 reasons I am choosing to stay in NYC rather than move out like so many have been. He takes his time while cutting my hair and has such a good eye at making me look good. It's crazy to think about how much my self esteem revolves around my hair, but it really makes a huge difference when someone who knows what they're doing and cares about the way you look cuts your hair.
