Great first time experience with Toni Ann. Came for a funky, short haircut. Always an unnerving experience when you first meet a new stylist, at least for me, but I need not have worried. Toni Ann did a great job, and showed me a slightly different way to style my hair. Overall a very positive experience in a warm and attractive salon. I will be back.

The main reason I chose BC salon for a full balayage was cost. I was hoping to find a more affordable option to what I usually pay in the NYC area. I looked at the services on BC salon’s website, saw that a full balayage starts at $185+ and thought I found the right place. I understand that final prices can vary, so I was expecting to already pay a bit more then $185, but was SHOCKED when I was charged $320 at checkout. I ended up spending more time and money than I usually do, which was the opposite of what I wanted. I didn’t say anything in the moment because I was surprised and uncomfortable bringing it up, so I paid and left. I double checked the website again after I left, and after digging further, that’s when I noticed that each hair dressers’ individual pricing was listed under the

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT SERVICE. This lady, CARA was extremely rude and unprofessional on how she handled my request how I wanted my hair to look like. If I’m paying $400 I expect my hair to look good but left with scalp burning and wet hair. She should have come up with solutions to achieve the hair color I requested than hearing her complaints in the break room - KEEP IT PROFESSIONAL CARA. Then of course she had ran to her boss, Billy and of course he hasn’t tried to listen to his customer but to Cara and not tried to resolve the issue. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS AWFUL PLACE. Bloom hair studio is way much cleaner, organized, upscale, professional and nicer, go to BLOOM Hair studio instead!
