Bath & Body Works

No one greeted me, none of the employees even acknowledged that I was in the store until I got to the registers and two employees had to stop chit chatting to ask if I needed something. There were only two other people in the store, and they left without buying anything. The store is very small, Bath and Body Works needs to make bigger stores, not smaller ones. I bet everyone was a sardine on Black Friday, and they will be on Candle Day too.

Love the new store! It’s set up really nicely but unfortunately there’s a woman with blonde and dark hair who I would assume is a team lead or manager of some sort who kind of ruins the experience. You can tell the staff is uneasy around her and she is very rude to the associates. In the short 20 minutes I was shopping she was snippy with them and was telling them they had to constantly be moving and asking people if they needed help which I totally get but she had them doing it to the point it was annoying. I was easily asked every minute and couldn’t just shop without being interrupted. I would even say she lacks leadership and people experience? She’s right there as soon as you open the door and the smile she gives you to engage is even stressed. Just soooo uncomfortable.

I walked in and was just stared at by a male employee. No, welcome in. Just a weird stare and then he went back to what he was doing. I walked around and heard another woman walk in, she was warmly greeted. I shrugged and kept looking another family walked in, they were greeted and helped as well. I then saw a 3rd couple walk in and same as me they were stared at and not greeted. I’m not someone to make things about race, ever. But I noticed how everyone was being helped except for me and the other couple. To “test” the waters I asked for help finding a specific soap and was shrugged off!!! lol. I picked what I was there for and left. No one “said thanks for coming in”, like the other guests were told. Eh it’s whatever I guess but I certainly won’t be going back.

A lady approached us and helped me find a natural scent for my son who sometimes gets sensory overload with fragrances. We found the eucalyptus and the cashier was friendly too and checked us out quickly.

Kristy was awesome, she was very kind and sweet! Items are kind of pricey.
