Review: My best friend recently had a very disappointing experience at this location, and sadly it’s not the first time. When she arrived to pick up her order, she was not greeted or acknowledged, even though several customers who came in after her were helped immediately. Those customers—who were white—had their pickup orders handed over with no issues. In contrast, my friend was ignored at first, and when she finally received assistance, she was required to provide extra identification to prove who she was. If ID verification is the policy, that’s completely fine—but it should be applied consistently to every customer. Watching some customers receive quick, friendly service while she was treated differently felt unfair and prejudicial. Experiences like this make customers feel unwelcom

I went into this location after I had problems with some items I got delivered. Nicks (cashier #3908817) helped me and was so nice and understanding with everything. They were able to explain the delivery problem in detail and made sure I understood what was going on before moving forward with my exchange. They made the shopping experience worth it!

Alexandria, VA location does not honor Bath & Body Works’ 100% satisfaction guarantee. I returned a defective 3-wick Gingham candle that tunneled and wouldn’t stay lit (two wicks kept going out) and was refused a replacement because it was “more than halfway burned.” That’s unacceptable when the product doesn’t function. I left the candle with the employee since it was unusable. I’ve also had issues using a gift card at this store. Consistently poor customer service. Avoid this location.

I recently placed a pickup order at the Kingstowne location. When I entered the store, the first employee I approached did not greet me, though a second employee did. When I arrived at the register, there was a white woman in front of me who was also picking up an order. The associate behind the counter simply asked for her name and began locating her order. However, when another associate approached and assisted me, she asked whether I was picking up and then requested both my ID and my order number—steps that were not requested of the customer before me. I was taken aback, as this inconsistency made me question why the policy appeared to be applied only to me. The worst customer ever cashier was the ID#3908817 she has blue hair that’s not even blue anymore was rude because I did not have the coupon download on my app she acted as if it came out of her pay check to scan the barcode. Find a better way to offer coupons instead of having the cashier all over your phone when you can just add in your number and your rewards can come up. WORST CUSTOMER EVER please go else where or order online.
