BASE Barbershop

We moved to Tacoma a year ago and have struggled to find a barber we all like (and who’s easy for walk-ins and doesn’t mind doing a short haircut for an LGBTQ+ person). Now the kids argue over who gets to go to the shop. We love Vi and the folks at BASE. They always go the extra mile, including line designs!!

Took my sons for a haircut today and The barber was patient, friendly, and made them feel comfortable. Their haircut came out perfect , he did such a great job 👌🏻 we’ll definitely be coming back!

I went in yesterday thinking it was the little old lady at Kings Barber. That’s been at this location for years and what I found was a new renovated first class barbershop with a great group of guys turning out amazing haircuts. I sat down in the chair, was greeted by a very nice gentleman, and given the best haircut I’ve received in years at a very good price. I have definitely found my new go to barbershop and will not go anywhere else. These guys are great and they care about their customers and will take very good care of you.

We decided to check out this barber shop today. It was clean and has a nice seating area, a basket of coloring books and books for if you bring a child and a tv for entertainment while you wait, we had no wait. The owner is professional and welcoming. My son said what he wanted and we talked about it and he made it look great. In my son’s words “this is the best barber ever”. We will definitely be returning.

Such an amazing experience! They did so good on my 8 year olds hair cut ! I highly recommend! Great atmosphere and very friendly service !
