Bareknuckle Barbershop Spartanburg

I was a walk in and requested a beard trim and ear and nose wax. The beard trim itself was good and I had never had my nose or ears waxed before so I didn’t know what to expect. When all was said and done she said I was finished so I got up and paid and thanked her for her service. Problem is when I got out to my truck and looked in my mirror to my surprise was inside and around the outside of my ears was an absurd amount of soft wax still in and around my ears. It looked absolutely disgusting. Needless to say, I will not be using this establishment again. I will find another barber to suit my needs. For the lady to let me walk out the door with the amount of wax still caked in my ears, she ought to be ashamed. I really don’t complain about nothin but this just got under my skin.

Chelsie is my stylist here. She has been cutting my hair for several years. She’s amazing. Always very personal and professional. Wouldn’t let anyone else cut my hair.

New to the area, I scheduled a beard trim with Bare Knuckles as they positioned themselves a a premium men's barber shop. I was sorely disappointed. I should have left when I saw children getting haircuts and the waiting area, which was a cubby hole big enough for 3 people, 4 if your knees are touching. Still, I waited for my turn in the chair... big mistake. The beard trim itself: WAY shorter than I asked for with no shape whatsoever. It looks worse than what I can do at home with a rechargeable beard trimmer. The result was uneven and lacked any style. I even had to clean up the neckline myself when I got home. No warm shaving cream. No straight razor. No hot towel. No beard oil. No chat or banter. No personality. It was basically like a Supercuts with slightly better music. From now o

Easy to make an appointment online; friendly and welcoming atmosphere; Madison did an absolutely great job on my haircut and wash. Will be back for another cut when the time comes. 10/10.

Worst barbershop in Spartanburg. I quit going a few years ago when the barber that cut my hair left. But my girlfriend made appointments for our boys to have their back to school haircuts. We decided to change the times so she canceled the original appointments and rescheduled for a later time. Well this morning she received a text saying she was being marked as a no show and the later appointments were being canceled and until she paid a no show fee she couldn’t schedule any other appointments. They wanted her to pay a no show which is pretty much the price of a haircut because their system didn’t cancel the original appointments. Explain to me how that’s our fault? Anyway I would definitely consider going to a different more professional barbershop if I were you
