I am very selective in who I let cut my hair. In the last 20 years, I have only allowed four stylists to cut it: one was the art director of Visible Changes in the Galleria in uptown Houston; the second was a legacy barber, Marcel, whose father was a barber and who moved back to Virginia to take care of his elderly father. I luckily found another legacy barber in Thedo and would have still been his customer if I hadn’t had to leave Houston, Texas, and move to Savannah, Georgia, for work.
