Barbershop Don Luis

Today my first visit after finding this business and reading online reviews. Being my first time to a Barber since Covid times ( 4 or 5 years cutting at home). I was extremely impressed. My hair cut and beard trim was exactly what I wanted. David, was the barber today. I will be asking for him on all my future visits. Clean, friendly and all the staff were very professional. Its hard to find a barber to stay with after only 1 visit. But for me I have. You cant go wrong going here. Please do.

Fantastic place to get a REAL haircut. It's hard to find a barber that can actually give you a real straight razor shave, but at Don Luis they can certainly take care of that. Tilo is the owner and is a great barber. You will spend a little more than you would at one of the chain stores, but the time and care that they take is well worth the difference. I would recommend to anyone in the Gainesville area that if you want a true old school barber experience to give Tilo and his staff a try!

Extremely impressed. Looked like Id been lost in the mountains for a year, so i walked in at 5:30 on a Friday with no appointment on my way home from work. Asked for basically the same thing Ive gotten with mixed results for about a decade now from different shops around Gainesville and surrounding areas. 40 minutes later we were finished, after very thorough work and a mountain of hair. The attention to detail was absolutely superb and unmatched, every stray hair was trimmed and straight razored. The result was the best hair cut Ive had in a very long time. Youd think he spent hours meticulously going over details, the effort to make it perfect was something you only see from people who truly take pride in what they do, a master in their craft. Usually Tilo does my hair, but I gave David a shot this go around. Did a great job on my hair. The hot towels weren't very hot, lukewarm maybe, but all in all, excellent experience and haircut

Very happy with our first visit to Barbers Don Luis. My son came in very over due for a haircut and requested a low fade and Tilo did a wonderful job. I hear he is getting lots of compliments at school today! Highly recommend Tilo and his team who were all very friendly to us. Great location for those of us that live in North Hall. Thanks again we will be back.
