I met the nicest young lady to wash and trim my hair. Ms Melanie was so helpful as she educated me about my natural hair. She even took the time to google and find out where I was from due to a different area code!! As that allowed her to teach me about the difference in heat and humidity from living in Louisiana. The atmosphere was very calming and happy. As a travel nurse I come across a lot of people but I assure you ms Melanie will always stand out. And I will be back. I loved it!!

Our experience at Barbara’s was awful! I recently made an appointment for my daughter to get her hair done by Raquell. I have never been to the shop or know the salon. I live in Arizona and my tween daughter who was visiting her dad in Moreno Valley asked me to get her hair done so I googled found Barbara’s Beauty Salon in Moreno Valley. The reviews were great not sure if these are paid reviews or family associates leaving positive review. So I booked an appointment on line for a sewn in weave at $200. There were other options also to select from . Quick weave etc… But I selected the normal sewn in. I specified that. After picking up my daughter from the airport I saw her hair. I really would recommend this shop! I was able to get in at the last minute. The staff was great and friendly and I would definitely come again! Monet is the best! You gotta come by!

I was here a few days ago getting a silk press. My silk press was amazing and the stylist did an amazing job! The shop is very clean and cozy. I would however like to use this review to teach some older black folks about professionalism. Some things are better left unsaid. The stylist who did my hair made an inappropriate comment and said, “I would’ve never known your hair was this beautiful the way you came in here!” That is not something you say out loud to a client. Granted, my hair was a mess (which is why I was paying to get it done lol), but she made that comment only after she started straightening my hair.
