Shaylee did my hair and makeup for my wedding. She was so incredible. She made my hair and makeup dreams come true. Besides that she is so chill and fun to be around !

I hired Shaylee and Rosie after I had Shaylee at my sisters wedding. Both Shaylee and Rosie were beyond talented at hair and makeup and made everyone feel beautiful. After each person they made sure we loved every part and were very willing to tweak anything, unlike a lot of hair and makeup vendors. They showed up ready to have fun, bringing great energy and made us feel like we were best friends by the end of the day chatting with all of my bridesmaids. These are the girls you want to have with you on your wedding morning! Shaylee even did my two year old nieces hair into the cutest bun and was so good working with kids. I am actually SO impressed with this salon. I've been to many. Shaylee did an absolute amazing job on my hair. I showed her a picture and she literally nailed it. She was so knowledgeable and SUPER friendly. The salon was so laid back, and I loved the fact that she worked with her mom, and it gave it such a "salon" feel. It reminded me of living in the big city again. My hair is so pretty, I will be returning, and recommend to anyone that needs an amazing salon.

Do not go here if you have curly or textured hair. I read on the website that they can cut curly hair, but this proved not to be true. As soon as I walked in, I was getting weird looks from all the staff. The woman who was supposed to cut my hair was especially sheepish. Keep in mind, I had written in that my hair was curly when booking the appointment, so it shouldn't have been a surprise. I wish she had just told me she didn't know how to cut curly hair, but instead she used heat to straighten my hair and only then could cut it. Luckily, curly hair is fairly forgiving, so it didn't change much. But I definitely didn't get the usual shaping/styling that I'm used to with most other salons even though that's what I paid for. It's been a while since I went here and I'm only now getting aro

I have been going to Shaylee for years and don’t trust anyone else with my hair. The staff is fun and welcoming. It is a treat for me to come in that I look forward to every time. I would never go anywhere else. I always leave feeling beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend Bangor Hair Co.
