My wife and I went to Bamford Wellness Spa and it was absolutely incredible! We both got massages, and they were by far the best massages we have ever received—expertly done, deeply relaxing, and completely rejuvenating. The spa itself is beautifully designed, with a calm, serene atmosphere that makes you feel pampered from the moment you arrive. We loved the cozy space to hang out before our treatments—it really set the tone for the experience. The steam room and sauna were perfect for loosening up beforehand and made the massages even more amazing. It was a true TREATment for my mind and body! I had an 80-minute Lomilomi massage, and it felt like a dream. We met Gabriela a day before to book our treatments, she was amazing: friendly, welcoming, and full of great local recommendations. Her kindness already set the tone for a wonderful experience at Bamford Kauai. My husband and I loved the relaxation area with its calming playlist, beautiful coffee table books, and great tea selection. And the massage with Wanda was incredible - she truly has her own philosophy of movement and healing. I left feeling both deeply relaxed and completely refreshed.

I enjoyed my time here and my treatments. The facility is clean and new. The lounge area while you wait for your service is beautiful. However, I gave it 5 stars because they are new and I want them to succeed. I would say I had a 4 stars experience. I tried the Quartz recovery massage and my husband tried the Awa deep tissue massge. My massages were great. Another highlight was a wide range of clean LOCAL skincare products at their spa reception area. The spa attendant, Nestor, was very helpful and welcoming. There were a few things I wish they could do better: the steam room was not hot (when I mentioned it, the spa attendant just brushed me off), the sauna door doesn’t close properly, just regular water provided (no lemons or fruits), and no cold ice towels.

Wanda is honestly one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever had. You can tell right away how much she cares about her work and her clients. She has such a great sense of where tension hides and somehow found knots in my back that I didn’t even know were there. Her pressure was perfect, and she checked in often to make sure everything felt comfortable. Wanda is professional, kind, and really skilled at what she does. I left feeling lighter, calmer, free, and honestly better than I have in a long time. I can’t recommend her enough!

To be honest I thought the massage was great and the facial was maybe the worst I’ve ever received 😬. The towels are so rough on facial skin and they wiped like 8 times throughout the facial. My skin was sore by the end of it. Not enough product was used throughout the facial, I left with my skin not hydrated at all. The same lady who did massage did facial and I would prefer specialists in each department. The products used have no connection to Hawaii and I think that’s a huge missed opportunity. Honestly not worth the price IMO.
