i would give this place no stars if i could. i recommended this place to my friend and she came out so unhappy. she went in blonde asking for full highlights to go lighter and she came out a bronzed redhead. check the photos. she even had her mom call to just get a refund and they said no all they can do is fix it with somebody else. which after what just happened i wouldn’t want to go back either. i’m never coming back here again and im more sad that they couldn’t help the situation. don’t come here if you want your hair a better color now it makes sense why older people come here for grey touch ups i can’t believe it. if balance hair spa would like to answer to this review the only way it would come down is with a refund other than that it’s here to stay to show that they don’t care if y

John and Maddie are a power duo! Went to them for wedding guest hair and make up and could not have been happier. Took a picture in for my up-do and Maddie nailed it! John’s makeup application was perfect and he served the glam! It’s obvious they love what they do, charming personalities, it was a fun experience for me! Hair at 10:30, makeup at noon and the pics I’m posting were taken after the wedding at 11:30pm. Hair and makeup held all day and through evening immaculately! Highly highly recommend these talented artists!

I am a blonde and have been blonde for years. I was trying to find a new stylist here because I’m from Pittsburgh. I tried this place and just asked for basic highlights to renew my current blonde. I came out brunette/ginger. I am so disappointed becuase I spent 300$ here and it was supposed to be 230$ but my stylist threw in a deep conditioning mask and a toner without consulting me about prices. My appointment was at 10:45am and they called me to tell me I was late at 10:00am. After them realizing they were wrong about my time I sat in that salon for 5 hours. It took my stylist 5 hours and 300$ to ruin my hair. I have never spend that long in a salon, or spent that amount of money to have somebody ruin my hair. I received another amazing facial from Kristin last month. She takes the time to really listen to me and analyze my skin to see what is best for me. I ended up getting a balancing facial and loved every minute. It was so relaxing and my face was so hydrated! I absolutely recommend her for your next facial. I’ve already made my next facial appointment for January!

Just had a facial with Kristin. It was AMAZING! She spent time first to go over concerns and offer advice. The facial itself was so relaxing and thorough. I never had a face massage like that and it was heaven. Last time I was there I purchased the 3 signature facial series because I knew I’d be back. Already looking forward to next time!
