I have visited many barbershops over the years. This place is fantastic. Chad is like a long lost friend. He makes you feel like you’ve known him for years. He’s as cool as can be and always makes you feel welcome. That and the relaxing vibe make you feel right at home. Excellent decor with a beautiful view of the river. You can’t beat it! His prices are very fair and since he never requests a tip, I tip him well. You’ll never meet a nicer guy. SIX stars!

I came in once before to get my curly mullet/shag shaped up nice, but this time I figured it was time for a change up. My Fiancé, our daughter, and I were very welcomed into a nice ‘feel at home’ barbershop here in the heart of Astoria. I think it’s safe to say, I found my new go-to barber in Chad after an amazing job on my taper fade cut!

I came in needing a budget buzz and I got one for $20 which is just what I'd hoped for, but I also got a 5-star treatment with a hot towel, trimmed sideburns and a neck shave. And no prompt for a tip -which though not a thing I normally scorn when I need a cheap haircut I really need to save every dollar I can. (I didn't ask about a discount for veterans at that price either.) In sum: phenomenal grooming at a generous price. Highest recommendation. Welcome to the neighborhood, Bad Buoy Barbur Company.

So glad I spotted Bad Buoy while in town. Stopped by while on a trip visiting family and Chad took great care of me! Phenomenal crew in there, every person I saw filter in and out during my appointment left with a great cut. Felt right at home, highly recommend.
