Next time ask for permission before thinning layering hair. Don't go outside the customer's instructions and make assumptions. Hair stylists always cut more than necessary, and it takes years to recover. Once it is overcut, it cant be fixed for years. Which it why i almost never get haircuts or even trims, because they always cut half your hair off without knowing what you want long term. I always leave pissed off and upset for months after most haircuts from where ever. I've been complaining about this problem with haircutters for 25+ years now.

I was having trouble finding a new barber/stylist in the area, so I gave Backstage Salon a shot and let me tell you, it was a really great experience! I called before arriving to see if a walk-in would be available, and I ended up speaking with Erica and she said she could take me if I got to the Salon soon. I walked in, Erica was ready for me, and she was absolutely wonderful which is an understatement. As a preface, I am awful at figuring out what to do with my hair. I've had my fair share of difficulties describing what I want which have led to shoddy haircuts. Erica was incredibly helpful in getting me the cut and style I was hoping for. She was a joy to talk with while she did the cut, she is a truly kind individual and has the styling skills to back that up, too. I was quite please

I had the pleasure of having Barb color and trim my hair. So polite and friendly. She did an amazing job. I went in a brunette (natural color) and left with a beautiful ginger color. She didn't even have to bleach my hair to achieve the color I wanted and my hair didn't feel damaged. It was so soft and beautifully colored. Thank you again Barb. I definitely recommend others to try this salon. I know I'll be coming back.

I had an amazing experience with Sarah! The haircut and perm were done perfectly—very natural-looking and easy to maintain. I’ve received so many compliments from friends about how great my hair looks! I was so impressed that I brought my son in for a K-perm as well, and it turned out fantastic. Sarah is truly skilled, professional, and pays great attention to detail. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a high-quality haircut and perm!

Clean place, spotless restroom. They've got a fantastic old school barber named George. Highly recommended.
