honestly had the worst experience here with the “master” stylist. i have been going to an Aveda hair salon in cali for the past 5-10 years, and figured that an aveda salon here could have similar results. the master stylist spoke on the phone with MY stylist at home and was given the formula for the ashe blonde highlights i ask for. she proceeded to say that his formula was not as good and that hers would have better results, which i believed after a long convo. turns out; she was completely wrong. i asked for ash blonde highlights and i got yellow, brassy hair. THIS is NOT the first time i have gotten ash blonde highlights on my brown hair, i have gotten them before and have been super happy with it. but she said she could do better and reach this result and it came nowhere close to it, a

Wow, Karen is such a sweet and caring stylist. I had the best experience with her cutting and treating my hair to the botanical repair. It felt like talking to a good friend, and she really seemed to genuinely care about me as a person. We had some great conversation, and she even treated me to a little hand massage. The haircut I received is soooo lovely, fresh and I really feel more confident about my appearance today. What a lovely way to spend my birthday -- thank you so much!!!

I had a fantastic experience with Karen! She gave me the perfect highlights, touched up my roots flawlessly, and gave me a great haircut. Her work ethic is incredible, and the quality of her work is top-notch. Highly recommend! Amazing work!

My husband for Christmas got me a gift certificate for225$ At this salon the young lady with the tattoos all over her arm did my hair the cut was nice but the dye job was terrible I even got chemical burns on my scalp if you want your hair done right don’t come here called the owner and left a few messages but of course no reply,update five minutes after I put review up the owner calls me to tell me to communicate through emails witch I thought was strange because when they took the money it wasn’t all this but needless to say I’ve never seen anyone that owns a business act this way never mind the pictures and the scab on my head from the chemical burn. It’s funny how the owner has an excuse for all negative comments that’s just funny like the comments I just read you should off asked for

I am taking a minute to update my review and respond to the owner's note, because I believe Google reviews should be fair as they are an important tool to help consumers make decisions. The sarcastic tone of the owner's response proves my point about how she runs her salon, but facts matter so I am writing short update below my initial review. Original review: I really wanted to give this salon a chance. I like to support women owned businesses and there is a need for good hair salons in Chesterfield, but unfortunately this is not a great salon. I initially went there for a root touch up, they did a good job with the color (not the styling). I had a treatment (Cezanne done) and they did a good job, but unfortunately the third time i went Karen (master stylist and owner) really messed up
