B D Michaels Hair Salon

I am a new to the area and was looking for a salon that employs Organic Colour Systems products for haircolor. After coming across BD Michael’s Organic Hair Salon I new I had to schedule an appointment with Erin, the salon owner. If you have not been to a organic designated salon and have processes performed on your hair I highly recommend trying it out. Erin really took the time to listen to what I wanted and executed my vision beautifully. When I had a different idea on an aspect of my hair she worked to accommodate my wishes and make it reality. Not to mention, Erin is the sweetest and a very kindhearted individual. I am very happy with my hair and look forward to future services and haircuts. I love my hair now after disliking it for years, lol. I must mention how clean and sanitary

I had a great experience with Erin today. Due to all of the horrible toxic chemicals in hair dye I ONLY use organic color systems on my hair. If this is a concern of yours due to sensitivities, allergies or just a respect for your body and the environment then this is a great option! She did a fabulous cut and color and I will be back!

This salon is the only organic product salon I'm aware of and the owner Erin is a fantastic person. She has a demure, kind personality and is very sensitive and professional. I live an hour away and drive there once a month to have my hair color kept looking great. She has done a great job with highlighting my hair as well. Not all products that claim they are organic truly have organic or harsh chemicals.

When I first came to Florida it was hard to find an Organic Salon. I have a disease and cannot have chemicals and dyes. I found a good shop but the haircuts were pretty bad. When the shop got sold the owners no longer used Organic so shopped around for years. Some said they could "get" organic products, but they did not smell or feel Organic sometimes. Then my daughter told me about Erin. When you walk in you know it is the real deal. Everything is chemical free. She also gives a great haircut and can use the product to highlight your hair, as well. Easy to work with and a infectious laugh.

When searching out healthy alternatives to the old traditional hair dye I came upon BD Michaels Salon in Sarasota. I was looking for a local salon the uses Organic Color Systems that was developed in the UK 16 years ago and got great reviews online. I went to Erin today for my first color and I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! Erin is quite knowledgable and did an expert job in helping me select my appropriate color. He application was top notch. My hair looks healthy and shiny after coloring due to the heat processing to apply this color..... I am very happy and will keep going to BD Michaels and Erin for my HEALTHY hair color!
