Azona Nails Spa Surprise

Not a horrible experience but not great. Had manicure with gel-x extensions. First I was with a girl who either didn’t know how to do them or just couldn’t get them right. Then she asked her manager Vin to do them, but that turned out to be a nightmare as he constantly stopped working on me to answer the phone, get up to cash other customers out who have been completed, great customers and take them into their seats, or text on his own phone. What should’ve been 45 minutes to an hour job turned out to be three hours. They were quite busy so I had to wait a in hours to even get started. The nail job is OK but the gel on top is uneven makes the side view of the nails look funky. Along with leaving a ton of goop/the gel to hear the nails to my nails underneath without cleaning it up. Third time going to this nail salon and I have no complaints. Vin has done my nails twice and he recreates the designs I show him perfectly. He takes his time and makes sure they are perfect! The location is always clean and the employees are always friendly. Overall great experience!

I've only been here twice and the first visit was great so it's hard to give an accurate rating at this time. I will likely come back one more time to see how the next experience goes. With that said, I came yesterday with my daughters, they were getting their first mani/pedi. I got gel for their hands so the polish wouldn't chip but instead the whole piece of gel polish on one of my girls thumbs came off completely. I was shocked considering it had only been hours since their nails were done. I got a pedicure and a full set, pedicure was great but my fingers got so torn up on both my hands I was literally bleeding as she was doing my nails. I'm typically an "it is what it is" kind of person but my fingers hurt SO BAD when I woke up this morning, I'm kind of irritated (hence the review). I

Unfortunately this spa is a huge disappointment. After having twins 10 months ago, I really haven’t had time to get out but finally I decided to treat myself to a pedi and full set of builder gel. Cindy was really nice and fast with my mani but after she was done I inspected and 2 nails are cooked and one is bumpy after asking the design to be fixed. The gel and color never went all the way to my cuticle so they looked grown out after walking out of the salon. Fast forward to 5 days after they started to lift, one nail popped off and a second popped off yesterday. I got them done on the 20th. I’ll put a pic of what they looked like on the 25th.. and then today. I could’ve said something before leaving the salon but I got twins at home and stuff to do lol. I am so disappointed! I went in with my daughter and we were so excited for our appointment but I left feeling so bad. My nails turned out lumpy and so uneven in length. I asked them to cut down my nails about an inch and one of my hands nails was way shorter than the other side. I was so unhappy with them that I went straight to another nail salon after my appointment and got them fixed. I understand that they were incredibly busy but I felt like these nails were very rushed. It was such a bad experience.
