Azera Hair Braiding Shop has officially opened its doors! From brand-new mirrors to fresh stations, new lighting, and upgraded equipment, the shop is glowing just as much as the clients who walk through its doors. If you want your hair to progress do not go here. There are better braiders. They burned my ends off with the hot water. Picture 1 is a weeek before going to them, picture 2 is after I took off the braids I had them in for about 2 weeks. It’s also extremely cold in their shop, they have no heating. If you’re going to their shop make sure u bring blankets or bundle up in your coat bc you will be shivering in this low 20s weather

The shop was clean and the ladies were nice. I wanted knotless box braids which I got but came out way too bulky and my hair was sticking up it looked like antennas in the front of my hair. My hair was way too heavy. She never communicated with me on how I liked it or if the thickness was okay nothing I let her do her thing but it didn’t come out how I wanted. Also towards the end I heard one of the girls say that the girl doing my hair isn’t doing a good job which made me feel awful. The ladies were very nice for the most part. Very expensive though I paid $180 for my braids which I took out 3 days later. My hair was itchy after the 3rd day and super heavy I couldn’t wear them anymore.

I’ve been seeing Azerra since she was in the back of the barber shop by the train. She’s amazing and always takes care of me!
