I got an appointment yesterday for my father and they told me the service would be $70. They made me pay up front which is ok and my dad started getting his massage. The massage lasted about 50min according to him and also because she would take breaks and finished early. After that he was harassed into giving her a tip. She didn't even ask if he would like to tip her she just ORDERED him to give her one, and not only that but she made sure it was OVER $20. He said they had paid for him and he would tip her next time and she had the audacity to say that THERE WONT BE A NEXT TIME! This was horrible service, and if the owner is not paying them enough he should be the one harassed into doing so! Nowhere did it say it was MANDATORY to tip or gave us an option. I had just arrived in the city and was looking for a place to relax after a busy few months. The Asian massage was very effective in relieving tension and muscle stiffness. The environment was simple, yet comfortable and peaceful. The masseuse was highly skilled and easily worked through any stubborn muscle stiffness, using deft stretching techniques. I also loved the added touch of hot stones and warm towels to wipe away the oil at the end. The masseuse was highly skilled and provided a truly healing and stress-relieving massage. I would definitely come back.

Today's massage experience was absolutely amazing! This was my first time here, and from the moment I stepped in, I was enveloped in a warm and tranquil atmosphere. The masseuse was incredibly professional; she diagnosed my shoulder pain with just a simple massage, and then gave me a deep massage with perfectly balanced pressure, relieving my work fatigue. Next time, I'll definitely bring my friends to AZ Massage Retreat Spa.

Massage was actually good. Customer service, not so much. I was required to pay BEFORE I received the service, but I was cool with that. The lady that did my massage asked as I finished up, if I were leaving a tip. During my massage, she had to get up briefly three times, but did not give me additonal time. So, I said no, I paid for the service that is all that is required, right? They don't know my financial situation anyways, tips are optional. The manager came out and then proceeded to tell me that, just like at the restaurant, you give tips, she should get a tip. It was obvious the lady that massaged me was upset that I didn't leave a tip. When is the expectation to get a tip, even when you haven't done exceptional work, nor provided me my whole time?
