Axe to Grind Barbershop & Tattoo co.

I could cry, I just brought my 3 yo w/ autism for a haircut. I fully expected him to freak out and cry and be a whole mess, he is VERY sensitive. This boy you can’t even put socks on without a melt down, I try and comb his hair he throws a fit. But Nick took the time to make him comfortable which surprisingly my boy took to him (he doesn’t do well with many new faces, so that says a lot to how sweet and kind Nicks vibes must have been towards my son) and not a single tear was shed while he got an amazing haircut! 10/10 we will be back next time my boy needs a cut! Thank you for your kindness and patience 💕

Dylan MacLeod was a new artist last year when I trusted him to do some of my tattoos. I chose him based on his fine art skills. He has made many pieces of art for me prior. He was patient, fair priced and professional. Justin has been cutting my son’s hair for 5 years. He is so kind to my son and his haircuts are phenomenal! Every experience I’ve had at A2G has been exceptional. Everyone here is a true artist and I’m grateful to be apart of it!

Just had my first hair at Axe to grind and after being so disappointed with many shops, I found my new go to! Such a down to earth easy to talk to crew over there. I haven't enjoyed a hair cut in a long time in terms of quality of service and a relaxed environment. It was cool watching them do sensory friendly cuts for children as well. It seems the owner Justin is a jack of all trades in the hair business. Will be returning here and recommending to my friends as well.

Been working on my tattoo sleeve for a minute now but had to put everything on pause since moving to MA. One of the guys at my job recommend Dylan at the shop and I lucked out for sure. My standards are high and he’s gone above and beyond with cleanliness, communication and his skill level. I’ve gotten tattoos at a couple different places in my life but this is gonna be my spot going forward. Thank you Dylan. Glad I found someone I can trust.

I’ve been going to Axe to Grind for years, and have always left with a great cut. Mike has been able to shift the style of my haircut based on what I like or want to try and I trust his judgement when trying new styles. I have never left disappointed. The whole barbershop has a great atmosphere and is a relaxing experience. I highly recommend anyone give them a shot.
