Avondale Star Nails

I came here for a manicure and pedicure. Manicure: the work they did was good. However, could not give me the nail design that I wanted - a simple pink ombré that can be done with an ombre brush. Nail tech kept saying I needed acrylics. No, I do not. Do not try to upsell. I ended up with clear polish on my nails. Will be going elsewhere as soon as I’m done here. Pedicure: I showed the nail tech that I have closed toe shoes with me. I was not provided any disposable flip flops during the service. Despite waiting 30 mins for my nails to dry, as soon as I put my shoes on, the nail polish messed up. Thank God I was able to see this when I took my shoes off before driving. I returned to the salon within 5 minutes, demanding a refund. I did not want to sit and wait another 30 mins for my nails

I highly recommend this nail Salon. Prices are fair and service is great. Tracy has been my nail tech for 18 years. All professional and friendly employees. My experience is always great.

I am new to the area, and I been to a few nail spots here in Avondale…. But I am glad my niece recommended me to this place… I am very happy and satisfied with my nails and wax. Very friendly, very clean, and I didn’t have to wait over an hour and a half…. This will be my place now, I totally recommend this place… 😊🥰

Was charged $80 for ped and med gel polish. The polish glitter is annoying me. It's so basic and plain. I was going to ask for glitter over the purple but I notice they charge for every movement. So I left it. Honestly didn't leave happy at all. But oh well, this the reason I give other places a chance. Onto another nail place.

Came as a walk In today and all I can say was I had a wonderful experience! Friendly and great service! Prices are extremely reasonable! Will definitely make this main nails shop! My nails came out so good I wanted a manicure and she did just that and help picked my color I was needing! Thank you for the great experience!!! I will be brining the family here as well ❤️
