Avon Hair Company

I have been going to Avon Hair Company for 15 plus years. Love Erika! She is one of the owners and is very knowledgeable about hair color and highlights. The rest of my family are regular clients of Nicky. She has been cutting my kid’s hairs since day one. One boy and one girl. She does perms for boys!

I have been going to Avon Hair Company as long as it’s been open, and to its owners for a few years before that. Even through college I’d drive 2 hours one way because no one else would be touching my blonde! AHC has my full trust in color and cut. They always listen to what you want. The salon is friendly and very clean. I know I can sit back and relax while my hair needs are taken care of. My mother, aunt and now son go there as well! Highly recommend.

Excellent first experience at Avon Hair Company! I have been to many salons and stylists over the past 5 years and couldn't really find one I wanted to stick with. I live in West Hartford and it has been difficult to find someone that has great experience with long hair. Each stylist I've seen has been extremely expensive for the quality of work. I'm glad I decided to try driving into Avon because Amy was absolutely fantastic, and the price was very reasonable. My hair is long, and reaches below my shoulder blades. I like this length but I find most stylists try to cut it too short for my taste. Amy listened to my concerns and delivered a very full-bodied, amazing cut. Went there for the first time to fix a botched highlighting job from another salon. Deirdre was great! She understood exactly what I was asking for and I walked out feeling like myself again. The prices are much more reasonable than others in the Avon area, too.

I've been with Amy for about a year. She is very conscientious and works very hard to be sure I am pleased with my cut, color and personal comfort! She does not push product, she accommodates my schedule and she always recommends the correct timing for an additional service to enhance my color and ensure health of my hair vs tacking that extra charge each visit.
