My second time visiting! Never had any issues. The owner is very nice and friendly, and is familiar with styling Asian hair. I loved the results of my permanent perm! 👍 On 6/13/25, I visited her to get my hair highlighted, and the results are amazing! My expectations were exceeded!🪮✂️ highly recommended!👌👍

About eight years ago, my wife was on her way to her regular salon in Countryside when an accident on East Bay Drive blocked the road. She happened to stop into AVN Salon—and she’s been a loyal customer ever since. She always receives compliments on her hair. Not long after, I started going as well. Pearl and her sister Suzann do excellent work and make each visit enjoyable. They’re friendly, professional, and consistent. Highly recommended.

I went and saw Pearl today for the 1st time for a whole head of high lights, cut and style. I could not be more pleased her attention to detail was fantastic. Pearl is also very friendly and extremely cute! I like the fact that the salon was not crowded and allowed her to spend more time with me. The prices were very reasonable, I'm from NJ and would normally pay twice as much for a stylist w/ a personality of an ice cube. I will be going here for all my salon needs and highly recommend you do as well. Awesome job Pearl, you'll make me feel like a movie star tonight at the Xmas party!! See you soon!!

I've been going to the girls at AVN since they opened. Pearl, the owner, is truly talented at what she does. She knows how to see the vision for what style will best compliment your hair type. She is very reasonably priced, honest, and efficient. The other girls in the salon are equally as talented as she is. They take their time in hair and nails which makes for quality salon service. I never have to worry about my nails chipping off the next day when I come to Pearl. My hair is curly, thick and unmanageable and Pearl does a perfect job maintaining it, and directs the girls in the salon to do the same. They are the BEST!
