I had a very disappointing experience at Avenue Hair Design. I paid $249 (plus tip) for balayage and I am extremely unhappy with the results. I brought multiple inspiration photos and was very clear about what I wanted a blended balayage with blonde pieces throughout, especially in the front, while keeping a darker root. My hair looks nothing like what I asked for. There is still a harsh line/band and the color came out orange/caramel and fades into light brown instead of the blonde balayage I requested. I even asked during the appointment multiple times if the blonde was lifting properly because I had a bad feeling it wasn’t going in the direction of the photos and unfortunately I was right. I don't normally leave reviews but felt I had to, to share my amazing experience I had with Grace! I was unhappy with my prior stylist at a different salon, and was nervous to try a new salon/stylist but boy am I oh so glad I did! Grace did an amazing job with my blonde hair and gave me exactly what I wanted, and guided me in the right direction on what to do with my hair to provide the best result. Right upon entering I got offered a glass of wine (omg awesome) and had an amazing relaxing and fun experience in the beautiful salon! And everything was so comfortable from the chairs to the washing station. And all at a reasonable price too! Thank you SO so much Grace I am so happy to have found my favorite blonding specialist ever!!!🩷🩷🩷

Avenue Hair Design in Venice is absolutely beautiful. It's modern, welcoming, and such a lovely place to spend a few hours. I was greeted with a wonderful Rosé to start, and everyone there was genuinely kind, warm, and friendly. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable and taken care of. I usually get my hair done in Europe when I visit family, so trying someone new here made me hesitant after a few past experiences in Sarasota. Sitting in Greg’s chair immediately put me at ease. The services are exceptional and I’m so happy every time I leave. I get so many compliments on my hair! My stylist Madysen really listens to what I want and figures out how it will work best with my fine hair. I had a hair journey of trying to recover and repair a previous bad hair loss situation, and she has been so patient and helpful while restoring health to my hair. I literally came to her in tears and Madysen has given me so much hope to get me back to where I was. She kept it colored and styled throughout and I can confidently say her careful use of color and helpful tips were integral in getting me back to where I actually feel myself again!!!!
