Avani Organic Salon

It’s hard to find a salon that uses organic/less harsh dyes but I’m lucky I found Avani! Geeta took great care of me and gave me exactly what I was looking for. She is a lovely person and great to talk to as well. The space is very cute and welcoming. Thank you Geeta!

I can’t believe I’m just discovering this salon, what a find! IMHO, The Lake is hands down the best area of Newton and I love what this business brings to the neighborhood. It’s difficult finding organic hair color at a salon without spending a boatload of cash, and I am so thankful to have found it now. Geeta did a great job cutting my long, naturally curly hair and the color came out lovely. The salon has a very calming and tranquil atmosphere, and I had a wonderful conversation with Geeta - she made me feel like we’ve been friends for years after just 2 hours in her chair. I had a great experience at Avani. Geeta was friendly and warm. I felt at ease as soon as I walked in. She did a great job with my hair too! I had a cut with layers and walked out feeling lighter and more confident. Prices are reasonable and location was perfect for me. The acid test was what would happen when I washed my hair at home - and it came out great! Would highly recommend!

Geeta does an amazing job. She is extremely talented and knowledgeable about beauty and hair and hair color. I had my haircut and color with her and it looks fabulous. My hair never looked and felt better. Geeta is really caring and kind and clearly loves and excels at what she does. The salon is relaxing and it is a really lovely experience. If you haven't been there try it!!

Geeta is absolutely lovely. I’ve had a really hard time finding a salon I like here in Newton (including one across the street from this salon that I do not recommend) but was thrilled to find this one! I highly recommend seeing Geeta!
