Authentic Hair Plus

Recently, I scheduled an appointment to get my hair done and my experience there was AWFUL. First, the customer service from both the owner and the stylist was terrible especially from the owner I had high expectations. They were very indifferent when I asked to have my hair done a particular way and stated that they were not willing to do it to my liking. Next, the quality of work done to my hair was unacceptable. It's been a couple of days since my appointment and already my hair has come unloose from the twists that they just did. I called the owner to inquire about fixing it, she didn't care to help me. Lastly, the stylist's attitude was impolite and definitely unprofessional. The stylist was more concerned about her money than she was about her customer's happiness. Overall, I WOUL

Being 5 minutes away from home and right off of 41 Authentic Hair is very convinient for me to get to. The prices are good too. What cost me 75 dollars at one salon only cost me 50 there. What I liked the most was the quick service and how nice my twists looked when the stylist was finished. I'm glad I gave this salon a chance. It's a hidden gem in this town.

Ashley did an amazing job! I've never recieved so many compliments on my hair! I highly recommend her, very professional, laid back, fun & can do any style you want!!

These folks were so kind to tend to my lady when we walked in the door. Other salons in the area had attitudes, with one in particular who stated they were fully booked. Five hair stylists and zero customers were in this establishment. Perhaps they were afraid to work on someone who didn't have straight blonde, Barbie Doll hair. Well, we found Authentic and they were amiable as well as talented hair stylists. They specialize in "ethnic" hair. We were most pleased. Glad we found them.

Set an appointment for my kid to have their hair done and had to sit outside and wait because she was late. Once inside the shop it was so dirty and dingy, I didn’t want to touch anything. This wasn’t from 1 day of not cleaning up, it looks like it wasn’t swept or wiped down in a very long time. In all fairness the hair was done good but I was so uneasy in fear of a roach coming out of somewhere
