I was very clear about what I wanted: an inch off the sides only. It was also confirmed that my hair would not be cut short. The stylist did discuss length in the beginning, but during the cut she ended up cutting an inch or more off my entire hair. This was not what I agreed to, and I left unhappy and disappointed. Got a haircut yesterday. Despite telling the stylist only the tips, she proceeded to cut A LOT, I even told her that’s a lot you are cutting and she still proceeded saying “you have a lot of dead ends”. She did not listen to my request. She did what SHE thought was best for my hair. My hair is curly and now it is super short when it’s dry. Very unsatisfied with the cut and the customer service. Never going back here again.

I received a haircut for $56.20. Lasted from 5:20ish to 6:45 pm. I went in for a wash, cut, and Blow dry. The nice lady who cut my hair was very sweet despite being over booked and her own inexperience(she pulled multiple strands of hair from my bald spot when blow drying, it was painful, i could tell the stylist was not experienced). I have long, straight, and thick hair so I know not everyone can handle it. I'm making this review because the owner(Aurora) was rude when I was surprised by the price. Seriously I was more than gracious because the stylist left me for more than 7 min to work on another womans eyelashes. I was told $25 for a wash and cut. Nothing was said about being charged $56. For my ladies with curly hair, please don’t come here. A couple of years ago I decided to get bangs by the boss of this establishment. She completely made my bangs uneven. Fast forward to today, all I wanted was a simple trim. There was some new ladies working and one of the ladies gave me an uneven cut.

I love Aurora. She has been taking care of my hair and beauty needs since I was 14! I will never change her. Her skills are unmatched! Everyone should come here and support her business that is a staple in Twinbrook!
