I truly appreciate the old-school interior—it brings back a wave of nostalgia and reminds me of my childhood in Little Village. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that reflects the unique and vibrant spirit of their culture. My son especially enjoys getting his haircut here, as they use scissors instead of clippers, which he prefers. Overall, this place never disappoints—highly recommended!

$10 men's haircut! You can't beat that. Every other barber shop I called, was asking $25-30 and up for basic hair cut. Auroras Hair Salon deserves 5 stars!

I took my son here a few months ago and after a couple weird experiences, I decided that this one was the last straw and I would never return to this place even though it is super close to my house. The floor is perpetually dirty and she cut his neck twice. This place definitely seems like they hire people who don't actually know how to cut hair, maybe they're just trying to do a favor to someone by giving them a job.

Anna did low lights and highlights based off a photo I showed her and it wasn’t the exact same but she did well enough to get the bright yellow blonde out of my hair and turn it into a fall color that I’m very happy with and I’ll more than likely be coming back to see her to continue my goal of color I envisioned! Place is not up to date on style but the ladies in here hustle and work on more than 1 person at a time on Saturday’s and the owner walks around without a mask on about 80% of the time while everyone else has theirs on.

The girl with blond hair don’t even know the meaning of fade! I have an interview tmr I had a really good hair style before she cut the whole hairs from behind and from the side she thinks it’s a fade I show her a picture but my hairs didn’t look like 20% of it!
