I've been a loyal client of Jim's for at least 15+ years (I've lost count lol). Jim's salon is affordable and he is very experienced with many different types of hair and especially color. I always trust him to make decisions on color for my hair and I'm never disappointed! I love that the salon is in Albany and the salon itself is cozy and has a great vibe. Downtown Albany is lucky to have Aurora Studio!
Jim has been my hairdresser for almost 20 years, and he has the detailed notes on every time he colored my hair to prove it! The services are reasonably priced, parking is always convenient, the salon is impeccable and I always leave feeling better about myself than when I walked in.
Jim is absolutely the best colorist ever! I have gone to salons all over the capital District and in Long Island. No one competes with Jim with the blonde he creates. Placement is perfect and color is perfect! I highly recommend this Salon!
Clean, timely, convenient location, easy to communicate with, always a positive experience.
