AURA nail bar

Hii. I’ve been going to Aura nail bar for almost a year now. I’ve never once had a bad experience with the outcome of my nails or the staff. This time was completely different. I came in on a Wednesday asking for a gel set. Immediately was sat down. I told my nail tech that I would like to keep my natural nails and add on two tips. To my surprise he seemed annoyed. As if they were too busy and thought my appointment was going to be “quick and easy..” he started cutting my cuticles, and cut me on my left ring finger, and my thumb. It would not stop bleeding. Proceed to be a bit rough with my fingers. My nails with the tips do not remotely match the rest. I have a GLOB of paint under my nail(which I informed the tech about) and, for the cuts on my fingers. I’m hoping they do not get infecte

I’m a physician in the area and this is the worst nail salon I’ve ever been to in Dallas. Don’t come here. My friends and I came here and they made us wait 30 minutes to get our nails done without any sort of communication about when we would be seated. Once we were seated, they refused to give us the color book no matter how many times we kept asking for it. Once our shoes are off and our feet were in the tub. They told us to go get up and pick our color so it was extremely chaotic and disorganized. On top of that when they were doing the pedicure, they Refused to remove the calluses on the bottom of my feet, and usually if this was any other nail salon, this would’ve been part of the package. On top of that, their things have mold in them and refused to clean them. Probably the dirtiest

The tech cut my toe next to my big toe. It was painful. I didn't want to make a scene. The tech was trying to talk a coworker while working on my feet so she wasn't focused. This was my first visit at this place and it was indeed my last. The facility is nice but the quality of work is below average.

I had a very upsetting experience at this nail salon. I came in for a short French tip, and before my appointment I called ahead to ask for the price. I was clearly told it would be $60. After my nails were done, I was suddenly told the price was $80. When I questioned it, they tried to change it again and handed me a different receipt for $70. I explained multiple times that this was not the price I was quoted, and instead of resolving the issue professionally, the woman became rude, argumentative, rolled her eyes, and asked me, “Do you even have the money?” I told her I did have the money, but I was not paying a price I was never quoted. At that point, they threatened to call the police on me, which was extremely uncomfortable and unnecessary. As a young Black woman, this felt intimida

BEAUTIFUL LINE WORK! This is my favorite place on EARTH! Jimmy, Mango, crystal, Jennifer, Tony! I could go on and on! There is not ONE bad nail tech in this place! Great drinks, great massage, great conversation! You can not find a better nail bar!❤️
