Astou African Hair Braiding

I stopped bringing my daughters here. I let them do my girls hair plenty of times because I had no one else that was as convenient as they were with scheduling. I let Ben do my 8 year old hair about 4 times and it never lasted long. But I still continued to book appointments due to their convenient scheduling. The last time Ben did my 8 year old hair it was awful. It looked so bad that I complained to Astou about it! That same day another girl did my teenager hair and it looked nice, let alone when I picked my teenager up from their shop after her hair was completed I was in the car and I told my daughter to come outside to get the cash to pay them, Ben the one who I complained about had the nerve to come follow my daughter outside trying to make sure I pay . THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE KNOWING

This will be my new braiding salon. Stylists are nice and work diligently, attempting to perfect your style. Owner is welcoming and aims to please her customers. I received small waist length boho braids and they nailed them for a good price. I wanted to include photos because I didn’t see any photos of my particular style. Thanks Astou!

They do hair really nicely, the issues is the time management/commitment. Every time we have booked here we have been stood up and had to reschedule and as good as the work is I will unfortunately be going somewhere else that is more reliable. I’m tired of having to scramble and find a secondary solution for my hair last minute when my appointments get canceled. I wish I would have taken screenshots of the text messages from this business because they’re claiming what I’m stating is false. My appointments have been canceled or I’ve been forced to reschedule when the stylist does not show up for my designated appointment. I have the correct location, I picked this salon initially because I saw it next to the Kroger I frequently shop at.

Since I’ve been in Warner Robins I’ve found a braiding shop that does everything I could ask for. The women's name is Astou, she does amazing work along with everyone else in her shop. I appreciate her!!! I could tell her the way I want my hairstyle, she would tell me that she can do it. If I was asking for something ridiculous she’ll let me know that it won’t look right, but find a way to make it perfect! I’m always happy and satisfied when I leave her shop. All the times I’ve been she never was late or anything was behind ONCE if that. She’s fast and I never had any complaints. She also did my mom hair and loved it! Also she always leave my edges out when I ask.

Very polite and professional people. The lady that did my daughters hair, did and excellent job and it took a little under 4 hours for smedium box braids. Definitely going back
