Asian Massage Spa in Long Island - Spalax

SHADY PLACE!! Do not go there. I was lead by the therapist into the room and I paid $70 for the hour. I had to pay before and I asked for the menu but there was non. All she asked me was half hour or hour. The therapist seems to have no experience as she just rubbed her hands all over my body, switching multiple times from legs to back. There was no rhythm and after 20 mins she told me to turn over. I told her that I paid for the hour and it’s only 20 minutes and she said “I know”. After I turned over she started rubbing her hands over my chest and legs which I told her to stop because it felt weird. She didn’t massage my head and went over to massage my feet. The massage ended 15 mins before it was supposed to. I didn’t argue or complain and just walked out.

So me and my boyfriend went and We did a couple massage today, I was a little nervous going in since everyone had such bad reviews. But honestly Mina and Louise were very good. Got all our problem areas and it was great! My body’s never felt so relaxed. They really got into the knots that we had. Overall pretty good experience. Better then hand and stones. Definitely will be going back

I love this place. Very clean and the staff are super nice. I've had a great massage whenever I go here. Never a problem with tipping.. 15% might be a good enough tip for your server who is bringing food from the kitchen. Personally I think a great massage deserves more.

Worst massage EVER! First off they switched people half way through without telling me but to be honest I didn't mind at first. Than the 2nd person picked up the phone and left the room multiple times!!!! Than you can hear all the kids hanging out outside and the noice from next door! These unlicensed people have zero technique, etiquette or able to speak english....DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I hardly ever write a bad review but I didn't want you to find yourself with complete regret of going to this place.

Massage was ok. Went to pay and they asked about tip immediately. Then my card wouldn't go through and the lady serving me and my girlfriend just kept saying no money. Got the boss on the phone. The receipt said merchant ID no good. Argued for 10 minutes and finally was told they don't accept discover after I was told I don't have any money. I had a tip in cash ready. After another card went through. I was rudely asked about tip again after the terrible experience. I walked out. Not a good experience.
