I loved Alyssa's class! I have been a barefoot therapist for 10 years and took this class for a refresher. Ashi Thai is a versatile modality that is a great option for someone who needs deeper body work but may not be ready for full Ashiatsu. Alyssa's calm and detailed style of teaching left me feeling full of useful and applicable knowledge as well as confident in my ability to relay information to my clients and also to not fear asking questions for improved clarity. She focused on technique, safety and fluidity. I not only brushed up on techniques I knew, but learned lots of neat new moves to add to my practice. I recommend both Deep Feet Bar Therapy and Alyssa to anyone interested in learning more about barefoot massage!!

I had such an amazing experience with Alyssa during the Texas Ashiatsu Deepfeet Bar Therapy Training. Alyssa is an incredible and seasoned educator. I speak to my experience of being a LMT for 11 years and started taking an advance 250 course less than a year after I graduated. I had a barefoot massage with Alyssa and oh em gee, it was truly one of the best massages I’ve ever had! Her technique brought such deep relief, and her warm, welcoming nature instantly put me at ease. She has a gift for creating a space that feels both professional and comforting.
