As a business owner, I truly hate leaving a poor review for another business. After reaching out multiple times, on multiple platforms and receiving no response after poor service, I felt the need to report this issue to the public. I received an extension move up last Tuesday and it couldn’t have gone worse. As a former stylist myself and extensions wearer of 3+ years, I know how this service is meant to be performed and how the outcome should appear. From the beginning, the stylist didn’t seem to know what she was doing. Unfortunately, performing this service incorrectly can lead to alopecia (hair loss) and hair breakage. I booked a last minute appointment and was booked with Sidney! She was super knowledgeable, friendly, and professional! I have had some problems before with hair damage after highlights. Sidney took the time to hear me out about how I wanted my hair done and how to get the results I wanted without damaging my hair. She gave great advise on the cut I wanted based on my hairs’ texture and my face. She looked at all the photos I brought, breaking down what I liked and did not like, she even pulled up references for questions! She said she usually works on brunettes but I bet that girl can do anything! 100/10 time, plus she gave me my favorite sparkling water.

I wanted to leave a review, as I have visited the salon three times now. I am all about consistency of care. I would highly recommend one stylist in particular who has done an excellent job on my hair. That is JESSICA PHILLIPS💚🐛🦋! Not only is she excellent at her craft, but she truly cares about the people who sit in her chair! It is evident that Jessica loves what she does, and puts everything into the services that she provides. She is capable and competent, and I thoroughly look forward to every visit with her! I highly recommend Ash & Oak Salon in Kannapolis!

The salon was easy to find and was in the perfect space. It was a beautiful little area and very comforting. Super clean and the stylist was so warm and sweet! Skylar was SUCH a sweetheart! I haven't had a haircut in years, and she was so patient and kind in making sure my needs were met and double checking what I wanted. She listened to everything I had to say, even when I just kept rambling on. My hair feels so good and so light, and it looks beautiful. I can't wait to go back to her!

Absolutely love Kayla! She does the best work on myself and my 7 year old daughter! Always happy when I walk out their door! You won't be disapointed!💜
