Art Barber Shop

Throwback to the good old days. This unpretentious, simple barbershop hasn’t changed much since its days of origin. Two barber chairs, a handful of padded chairs for waiting customers, scuffed and worn black and white tiled floor and a cylinder piece of wood painted red, white and blue in replica of a barber pole outside. Art demonstrates his many years of experience with the ability to meet the needs and wants of his customers. Cuts are clean and affordable and done in a timely manner without the need to rush to get to the next customer. Lively banter and humorous stories by both Art and fellow customers passes the time quickly. No appointments and its first come service Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only. One can sit a spell and soon find oneself shaking off the years and slipping back

Old fashion barber shop, which l love. Art the owner is great. He listened to how I like my hair cut, and did an outstanding job of cutting it.

Very nice barber shop - reminiscent of the old time shops from back in the day. Art is very friendly and strikes up a conversation with all of his clients. You can tell that he really does appreciate everyone who sits in his chair. If you're looking for a good old-fashioned experience, from back in the good old days, I'd highly recommended stopping in! He does work by himself, so it can get pretty busy in there - but I promise, it's worth the wait time!

Art, is a True Gentleman and the very best Barber there is. Just moved here in March, glad I found and tried his spot. Awesome conversation as well. See you in a few weeks for my follow-up cut.
