Arkansas College of Barbering & Hair Design

I went there a little over a year ago and got one of the best haircuts from a young student, Jalen, maby? His teacher was awesome too! The student must have been new and was visibly nervous. I matched the haircut price with a tip and he asked his instructor if he was allowed to accept tips. Lol. I had a great experience there.

This is ridiculous. I tried calling the school several times and there has been no real phone number to talk to anyone y’all need to get this fixed ASAP because this is highly inconvenient to the community.

If I could give this school no stars I would. I’m a current student and by far this is the worst school to go to. You will not get a book nor a kit. I’m close to graduation and STILL haven’t receive a BOOK. You better off learning from YouTube before even looking twice at this school. Any student looking to become a barber DO NOT LOOK AT THIS SCHOOL to help your further your career!!! Please stay far away!!!!!

I WONT BE BACK EVER AGAIN!— ( if I could give 0!stars I would ) Came in at 2:45 pm on 7/20/24 Saturday) to get a haircut. Waited 10 minutes for someone to greet me. This very rude black women with black braids down to her butt told me they don’t take haircuts after 3:00 pm .( she wouldn’t give me her first name) It was still 2:55 pm and then if I hadn’t waited 10 mins I could have gotten my hair cut at 2:45 pm. There were no customers in the hair school . . I asked her why are they open till 5:00 pm but they stop doing haircuts at 3:00 pm. ( she told something about students can only work till 3:00 pm I think but why is the hair school open till 5:00 pm on Sat. She had a really bad attitude like she didn’t want yo work. Very combative! I was recently a student at this school if you are thinking about attending barber college and attending this school please don't waist your time go look at another barber college. When you do your walk through of course they going to make school look like it's great and you going to learn so much. I was there almost 2 months never cut one head and I remind you they control the heads we cut by when they walk through the door they assign them. Why I was there I saw the director almost fight a student it got to the point where the police had to be call. We had clients in the building on top that clients ask for there money back director gone tell them no refunds. It's so unprofessional if that had happen in real barber shop established the barber/stylist would did everything make client happ
