This was by far the best massage of my life. Joanna is amazing and a very good practitioner. This is true body work, not just a spa experience, which is difficult to find. Relaxing is fun, but this actually makes your body feel better and set on a path toward healing. As a bonus, her studio is beautiful and I loved the local product collective she offers as well. She is well booked out for good reason, but it's worth the wait. Incredible!

Massages are relatively new to me, and something I wasn't sure I'd be comfortable with, but I wanted to do my body some good, and decided to book an appointment with Joanna. After receiving the massage, I now wish I had found her sooner! Once you walk into her massage room it feels like a magical little realm that relaxes you even before the massage begins. Joanna made sure to explain every step of the massage, and answered any questions that I had throughout the process. She was also really good about checking in with me about the pressure she was applying and whether I wanted more or less pressure at any point. I felt at ease and very comfortable the whole time. JoAnna is perhaps amongst the most gifted licensed massage therapists practicing massage therapy. Hopefully in this lifetime you will have the opportunity to be massaged by her. However she stays busy and incredibly booked out. The skill & dedication in her massages alongside the ambiance is stunning and unmatched! If in pain and discomfort I would still travel from my hometown in the Appalachian Hills just to visit this sanctuary.
