Aqua Nail Spa

This was my first time here and the service was wonderful. The receptionist is very welcoming and sweet. All the nail technicians greet you and are welcoming as well. Everything is kept neat and clean- a huge plus for me. I will definitely be returning.

I personally didn't enjoy my experience at this nail salon. First, they have no swatches of the nail polishes, so you are literally playing Russian roulette with the colors upon arrival. Second, the woman gave me a weird attitude when I asked her to cut more loose skin around my fingers. I felt scolded and embarrassed. Thirdly, they added this extra charge to my nails for my gel to last longer, which I never agreed to do. They just did it anyway without telling me. I didn't fully mind at the time, because if the gel lasts as long as they say it does, I will pay the extra 10$, but the fact she did not confirm it with me, I thought was extremely rude and unprofessional. It's always a good day when I walk into Aqua Nail Spa! Patty, the owner, makes everyone feel like family and always takes such good care of me. Even after I moved to Manhattan, I still commute back to Queens just for Aqua! The space is clean, organized, and always runs in a timely manner. I highly recommend all the nail techs and I can't wait for my next appointment.
