I’ve been getting my haircut from Doug for years! The service, attention to details and overall experience is the best bar none. Doug takes the time to really assess your hair and listen your needs. He’s honest, always level setting the expectation and communicating what’s realistic. Doug has contributed to so many of my hairstyles through the years: Caesar cuts, taper fades, mullet, and has now been part of my hair growth journey. Doug also shows you how to style your hair, using high quality products but never pushing you to buy anything- the experience feels organic and genuine.

Best haircut, bar none. Model quality, truly. I was very sensitive about my hair and hated finding new barbers - until I found Doug. I have been getting my hair cut by him every month for a decade now. That should say all you need to know. Oh and his dog is insanely cute!

If you want a proper buzz cut but don’t know the lengths, ratios to go with for your head - go to Doug and let him cook. I’ve been a client of Doug’s for almost 6 years. My hair was long and in a bun for the majority of the 10+ years before my first appt with him, at the original Apt 3 location. I decided I wanted to finally chop it all off and go with a buzz but didn’t know who to go to or what to request. Don’t remember how I came across his IG page but saw that he produced some solid looking buzz cuts and felt like he was the right barber for the job. I left the recipe up to him and I’ve been going to him ever since. He’s mastered the art of the buzz. I even asked for a buzz mullet type thing once and he delivered!
