Apollo Nail Spa - Fresno

This is the second time I come to this salon and I wish I would of liked it because it is a beautiful salon and it’s so close to home. I was not satisfied with my toes (done by a male emplee) either time. I asked for a French tip and he did not put a light pinch base nor did the tip look even. Tracy who did my fresh set had to go in and fix my toes. Tracy’s job was decent, listen to my length preference and the nails look alright to the naked eye. But if you look at the sides there is missing nail polish and unevenness. I went with an easy design because I’m honestly too scared to try anything cute as I often walk out unhappy. Finally at check out I was being overcharged and if I didn’t question it I would have paid $109 for a full set frenchies and French toes (regular polish)

I’ve been to this salon several times during my pregnancy and always had good experiences, which is why my visit on December 14th was so disappointing. When I checked in, the manager repeatedly told me my nails “still looked good,” even after I explained that I was getting them done now because I’m due soon and won’t be able to return with a newborn. Instead of acknowledging that, he kept trying to talk me out of the service I came for, which already set an uncomfortable tone. After using the restroom, I returned to a completely different setup and was suddenly placed into a dual service for hands and feet, even though I never requested this and no one explained the change. This was my first time coming into this nail salon & I was disappointed. I didn’t even received what I asked for & I didn’t even get to pink the gel base color , they picked for me when I mentioned I wanted a glittery gel pink. They charged me $80 which is insane for a French tip and on top of that it took TWO hours. I’ve been to many nail salons and have been charged most $59 for white frenchies and the most it’s taken is an hour. I wouldn't come back here again.

I have been going to Vi for a couple years, and she consistently provides excellent service. I often bring inspiration pictures, and she always meets my expectations perfectly. This set I wanted a pink ombré for V day and I love it.

Kind of disappointed in today’s service! Went for an Apollo pedicure. The receptionist wasn’t pleasant seeming to be occupied with whatever he had in his hands. The young lady asked me to come sit down and seemed to have an attitude when I made requests for sharp and letting her know I had an ingrown toenail. The service was rushed, when I got in my car I noticed that a few of my nails weren’t fully polished and I had an excessive amount of polish on my skin , it looked like they were at least a week old and done by a 5yr old. I went back and asked for them to be fixed, they did but again it was rushed and I left with my toes worse than the first time.
