Colleen did my hair for my wedding and it was amazing! She was so lovely to work with from our first communications to the trial appointment and finally the wedding day. She made me feel so at ease and did beautiful things with my hair. I danced for three hours straight at my reception and my hair looked exquisite all night long! I can’t recommend her highly enough. I wish I lived in Maine because she would absolutely be my regular stylist!

Colleen of Aphrodite Salon made me feel like a wood nymph goddess on my wedding day. I had a bohemian updo with a braid and fresh flowers, which she expertly arranged even though she had no idea what stems would arrive until the big day. The 'do lasted about eight hours, even with the August heat. It made me all the more confident for photos. Colleen was punctual, professional, and a joy to be around. She had me, the mothers, and my new sister-in-law laughing during their time in her chair, as well. If you get a chance to visit her salon for a trial, be sure to meet her Westie dog Cregan. He's adorable.

Colleen of Aphrodite has been cutting and coloring my hair for almost seven years. She is amazing and incredibly talented. My hair is ridiculously thin, and Colleen makes it look amazing which leaves me feeling wonderful. The color is out of this world. I can't recommend Aphrodite Salon enough!!!

I’m on of those people who has never had good hair luck... my hair always fell flat and looked terrible when I would get it do - whether for prom, homecoming, or friend’s weddings. Cue my own wedding - I was nervous to say the least. I had a vision of a simple, elegant updo, something classic and soft, but that would last through humidity and dancing. Now, cue Nicole. At my trial, Nicole whipped out a near perfect up-do in about 30 minutes... I thought, “Could this be real!? Was this really so simple!?” And Nicole said “oh, it will look WAY better on the day of.” And she was right. In no time at all, Nicole crafted the PERFECT, simple, low bun. Colleen is top notch. She created the most incredible wedding hair for my wife and me and made us feel loved and cared for throughout the entire process. She is professional, caring and so fun. We feel very lucky that we got to share our wedding day with her and the product was better than either of us could have ever imagined. AND our hair stayed PERFECTLY for twelve hours. Nothing changed. She is the best!!
