Anna Nails Spa & Unisex

My friend and I came to Anna nails today to get tips with gel polish, we called prior and were told it would be $30. We were there for 3 hours for two manicures. The woman (who I presume is the owner), did not wash her hands before she began working on me. When I requested a shape for my nails she threw her file down and rolled her eyes at me. When my friend asked for her nails to be shortened, the same woman sighed and called her a “piece of work” in Spanish to another woman in the salon. My nails are uneven, my thumbs are different lengths, there are huge lumps from the UV polish. While my friends nails were getting done, the owner dropped a buffer on the floor and instead of getting a new one, she picked it up and continued using it. I wasn't going to write a review, but every time I look down at my nails I get so upset. Pedicure was fine. Gel manicure... I haven't had a manicure in years, grew out my nails and thought a gel manicure would be nice, and would last for my vacation, leaving in 2 days. Instead of a pretty, feminine nails, I have like 5 layers of glue and powder on my nails. My little 5 year old said "mommy, what's wrong with your nails?". My nails are now triple the size... thick, wide, uneven and poorly filed. You can see the thick layers of the glue sitting on top of my nails. It was already after hours so I couldn't have it corrected. I really shouldn't have paid for the work, because now I'll have to go somewhere else and pay more money to get it fixed properly. This place is absolutly horrible! If I could give it less than 1 star I would. At first glance we were like ok it is still opening up let's give it a chance but after speaking with the owner she said she has been there over a year. I got a pedicure which was ok however no massage or lotion so my legs and feet felt dry after. They didn't use a liner in the foot soaker and during the pedicure I noticed long piece of hair floating in the water! I asked about it and the girl did not speak English and just shrugged it off and the owner laughed. My significant other was getting a lavender spa pedicure and the the girl had no idea what she was doing and kept making faces while performing the pedicure and his feel are VERY well taken care of. The entire experience stunk! I called ahead to ask if they were able to do a dip gel manicure. They of course said yes and to my surprise, she had no idea and she messed up my nails completely! She didn't put the stuff on enough so the sides of my nails were still showing all the nail bed and the white of the nails and when I mentioned it all she did was attempt to shave off the sides of my nail til she hit the skin! I will NEVER go there again!! The entire experience sucked and then she got annoyed any time I mentioned it and wouldn't even fix it on the sides!!

Very clean, got a simple manicure & pedicure im happy with it 💅
