Spent $75 on a simple French acrylic and 166 overall. Gave a $20 dollar tip and was chastised in front of the entire store for not tipping enough. They started talking amongst themselves and staring as soon as I walked in. One lady was staring at me almost the entire time I was there. I tipped based on the service and I won’t be back. The prices are exasperated!! & the workers have an insane level of entitlement, its uncomfortable. They are rude and the services are ok.

I am a 62 year old African American woman who brought her 84 year old mother in for a Basic Manicure. I was treated horribly today at this salon. When I arrived as a walk in, no one else was waiting. I watched a caucasian woman come in 15 mins after me. She was quickly waited on as I continued to wait. I assumed she had an appointment. Another caucasian women came in. I asked her if she had an appointment. She said no. She inquired about the wait time with one of the nail techs and was told that she would be serviced in 10 minutes. The woman looked at me, because she knew I was next. At this point I spoke up and reminded each tech that I was next. This is something they all already knew. The only reason I gave it 1 star - it's because it won't let me leave a review with no stars!!!! I have had to use their services twice this month, and after today - NEVER AGAIN! The only thing half way descent was the massage and I didn't even go there for that. I asked for to cut and remove the acrylic from my own nails - that's a $15 charge. She cut my nails down to the trunk, and removed the acrylic overlay with a metrocard. There was no soaking off anything. She butchered my nails to the point that she couldn't salvage my own nails. She insisted on putting acrylic on my nails for them to grow. I was left with stubs - what am I putting acrylic on stubs for?!?!? She asked me what shape I wanted - I said square. I'm not sure what her definition of square is, as most of my nails

I wish I would have read reviews before going there today. I requested a basic mani/pedi and asked for my nails to be buffed no polish. That was the first breakdown in communication and I should have walked out. My technician did a terrible job with my nails, they were cut shorter than I requested and filed unevenly. To make matters worse when cutting my cuticles she cut me 3 times causing me to bleed. Also $65 for a basic mani/pedi is ridiculous I can’t image what they charge for the other services. This is what I get for trying to get a quick lunch time service, I will never be coming back here again!
