Amy is a master at her craft, and frankly, the photos speak for themselves. Make no mistake- the straightening is permanent, permanent. My hair straightening, while a time and resource-intensive process is well worth the huge amount of time I save styling my hair after every wash. Amy took time to consider the thickness and texture of my hair, also applying protective product to keep my hair as healthy as possible through the process. Her salon is in a detached structure, perfectly appointed, and Amy was fully compliant with recommended COVID-19 protocols and very respectful of my comfort. Always struggled with people asking if I’ve brushed my hair due to my hair’s texture and I finally caved and I got the Yuko straightening. Amy is very kind and quiet and does an excellent job at explaining the Yuko straightening process. She offers snacks, water, and tea and she lets you pick a show to watch off of Netflix during your service! My hair is gorgeously straight 50+ hours after my service and she kept my hair very healthy and straight even on my bleached portions. Before and after pictures attached!

Cannot recommend Amy highly enough!! I had been on the fence about getting Japanese hair straightening for about a year because my naturally curly hair was so frizzy and hard to manage. I spent years trying the Curly Girl Method and was fed up with the constant battle of products and styling. I had tried a keratin treatment before, which smoothed it a bit but didn’t help with actually tackling the curls. So, I decided to take the plunge! Amy is very kind and professional. She walked me through each step and did a strand test on my hair to confirm whether it could handle the treatment, along with explaining possible side effects. She knows exactly what I need every time. She would take her time and never rush her clients. She also provides amazing services such as large screen tv with streaming services including movies and tv shows, wifi, a bar with snacks, coffee and drinks, etc. I felt so comfortable and at ease each time I came here. Amy has been my go-to stylist since 2021, and I couldn't be happier with the care and service she provides. She always responds promptly via text and has one of the most inviting salons I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. Amy provides thoughtful touches—like snacks and drinks to enjoy while she works on the Japanese perm—and even has a TV in front of the chair so you can watch anything you like during the appointment. Her prices are also incredibly reasonable, especially when compared to what other salons charge for similar services.
